You drop into the forbidden realm as a Gyldhunter and immediately start looting, because the clock is always ticking and so is your threat level. Combat is third-person and tight, built around a free-aim system that actually rewards you for targeting enemy weak points instead of just mashing attacks. You string together combos, mix in tactical items, and read the battlefield fast. Other Gyldhunters are in there too, and they want what you are carrying. Creatures called corroded monstrosities roam the zones, and they hit hard. So you are dealing with PvE and PvP at the same time, every single run. To escape with your loot, you need to reach a Returner Woodling and extract. Die before that? You lose everything you gathered. That tension never really leaves, even after dozens of hours.

Six classes are available, each built around two swappable weapon stances you can flip mid-fight. Mercenary stays up close and heavy. Shadowstrix slips in from the shadows. Seer holds the squad together. You build your hunter through talent trees, active skill selections, and rare gem affixes, which means two players running the same class can end up playing nothing alike. Solo works, but three-player squads handle the tougher raids more comfortably.
