Among Us Free Download is a social deduction party game by Innersloth, a small indie studio. They developed it and published it themselves, releasing it on November 16, 2018. The game puts 4 to 15 players on a spaceship trying to prepare it for departure. Most players are Crewmates. One or a few of them, though, are Impostors. Crewmates do not know who. Their job is to finish tasks and figure it out before it is too late. The Impostor’s job is to kill everyone without getting caught.
Among Us PC Game Gameplay:
You join a match either online or over local WiFi. As a Crewmate, you wander the map completing small tasks — wiring panels, emptying garbage, scanning in the medbay. Nothing glamorous. But while you are busy doing that, someone on your crew might be killing your teammates. When a body is found, or someone calls an emergency meeting, everything stops. The whole crew sits down and argues. You accuse, defend, point fingers, maybe lie. Then everyone votes. If you get enough votes, someone gets ejected into space. Right or wrong, that is democracy on a spaceship.
If you are the Impostor, the game flips. You pretend to do tasks. You fake it. You sneak through vents, shut doors to trap people, and cause sabotages to create panic. The goal is to make the crew suspect each other instead of you. It sounds easy. It rarely is
